Link Situated between Guildford and Wonerish, Great Tangley Manor was built in 1582. Thus it was nearly 300 years old when MacDonald lived there. |

Link The George MacDonald family rented Great Tangley Manor in the Spring of 1875, after his triumphant tour in the United States. There at last George MacDonald was able to have a horse. |
